We are incredibly grateful to Professor Diwakar Acharya for giving us his kind permission and blessings to republish an abbreviated version of his wonderful edition and English translation of the Kāmasiddhistuti of King Vatsarāja.
This rare hymn describes the goddess Nityā, her attendant deities, and her maṇḍala (which is clearly the well-known Śrīcakra) with acute detail. The Kāmasiddhistuti provides a remarkable glimpse into an early form of Śrīvidyā and should be of interest to scholars and devotees alike.
Tripurā Tallikā’s re-publication of the Kāmasiddhistuti is specifically oriented towards devotees and practitioners of Śrīvidyā and, therefore, does not include Acharya’s complete introduction, scholarly footnotes, or emendation choices. Parties interested in these details should consult his original publication, mentioned in our Editor’s Note on page seven. We hope our 2025 republication of this important hymn is useful to practitioners and devotees who otherwise might not have known about its publication.
