In the second verse of his Cidvilāsastava (‘Hymn to the Play of Consciousness’), Amṛtānanda teaches a deeply profound contemplation on, and practice of, the Gurupādukā mantra.

चित्रभानुशशिभानुपूर्वकत्रित्रिभेदनियतेषु वस्तुषु ।

तत्तदात्मकतया विमर्शनं तत्समष्टिगुरुपादुकाजपः ॥ २ ॥

citrabhānuśaśibhānupūrvakatritribhedaniyateṣu vastuṣu |
tattadātmakatayā vimarśanaṃ tatsamaṣṭigurupādukājapaḥ || 2 ||

“Objects of experience are encompassed by the nine divisions [of the Śrīcakra] based upon the [three] luminaries: fire, sun, and moon. The awareness of any object as corresponding to that luminous nature is the repetition of the mantra of the Guru’s sandals—the holistic form of the triad.” (translation by Ben Williams)
