In the thirteenth verse of his CidvilÄsastava (‘Hymn to the Play of Consciousness’), AmáštÄnanda teaches about the deeper aspects of both a specialized ÅrÄĢvidya navÄsananyÄsa (nine seat mantric installation) practice, as well as the foundational ášŖaá¸aáš ganyÄsa (‘six-fold’ mantric installation) practice as follows:

“The seats [of the Goddesses of the ÅrÄĢcakra] are the arising, sustaining, and dissolution of the cognitions of the nine circuits [of the ÅrÄĢcakra], three by three. The performance of [installing the Goddessâs body] in six parts of the [practitioner’s] body is understanding the six courses [of the entire world] as aspects of oneâs own Consciousness.” (translation by Ben Williams)
