In the tenth verse of his CidvilÄsastava (‘Hymn to the Play of Consciousness’), AmáštÄnanda teaches about how the Äsana (seat) of the practitioner is to be envisioned as follows:

yatra nirviášŖayabodhalakášŖaášaá¸Ĩ svÄtmaÅambhur avatiášŖášhate âniÅam |
tattvajÄlakam idaáš ÅivÄvadhi kášŖamÄmukhaáš sakalam Äsanaáš matam || 10 ||
