Lalitopākhyāna Series: Śrīpura (a Study Guide)
As many of the practitioners know, the Lalitopākhyāna (part of the Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa) holds a significant place in the Śrī Vidyā tradition. It introduces various deities, mantras, and yantras essential to our daily practices, which are also seamlessly integrated into the Paraśurāma Kalpasūtras. Understanding this text is pivotal for anyone serious about learning Śrī Vidyā.
For the 2024 Fall Navarātri Tripurā Tallikā is delighted to announce the release of publication centered around Lalitā’s abode Śrīpura.
This publication offers an immersive study guide that carefully guides the devotee through each of the 25 enclosures of Śrīpura, highlighting essential textual references and key descriptions along the way. Every enclosure is described with citations from the original texts, and the guide visually leads the devotee through the Eastern entrance, unveiling each subsequent enclosure and the spaces in between, which are populated by various deities. Illustrations from the first volume of Śrītattvanidhi are used to depict the respective deities and details, where available, to bring these descriptions to life.
